Diabetic Footwear

Insight Medical Supply has a diabetic shoe division that employs Certified Fitters of diabetic shoes. Our diabetic patients benefit from a variety of stylish diabetic shoes. A foam impression is taken from one patient’s foot for fabrication of a custom diabetic foot insert that is then placed in the shoe. The goal of this service is prevention and not simply offering shoes.

By insuring that our diabetic patients have proper protective foot gear, we prevent potential foot ulcerations and infections that can lead to hospitalization and potentially, in some cases, leading to amputation. The diabetic shoes and diabetic inserts are covered by medicare and most private insurances.
