Adheres to and implements with all applicable Company policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain working knowledge of current DME/HME products and services offered by Insight Medical Supply and all applicable insurance guidelines respecting eligibility for coverage and reimbursement.
Daily attendance of opening the office is Mandatory on all working days and hours.
Shows excellent attendance record and comes to work on time.
Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid and insurance regulations.
Expected to utilize all forms of communication such as email, phone and fax.
Process new patients and retain current patients through follow-up communication.
Process monthly orders and new orders as needed
Educate all customers and referral sources in the HME products and services offered by Insight Medical Supply.
Takes appropriate action to ensure that the company complies with applicable laws and regulations at all times while following
Ensures that Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN) and other documentation required for reimbursement are procured in a timely manner
Maintain rapport with ordering physicians.
Process all orders in a timely, accurate manner.
Assist with implementation of quality improvement program to meet Company and HQAA accreditation standards.
Willingness to learn and contribute to the improvement of company processes
Other tasks as needed and assigned by the Operations Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
Background in Healthcare Profession with CNA related or equivalent experience in HME/DME, Home Health Industry, or Medical Billing
Employment is contingent upon a drug screening test and background investigation
Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Minnesota
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Durable Medical Equipment experience
1+ years’ experience in Home Health Industry
Medical Billings Experience
Bilingual
